Utkarsha: Journal of Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies is committed to broad dissemination of Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies research. As an open-access journal, it provides free and unrestricted online access to all published articles, allowing researchers, academics, practitioners, and the wider public to read and use the published knowledge.

Authors who publish in Utkarsha: Journal of Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies contribute to the advancement of Islamic scholarship by upholding rigorous academic standards, ethical research practices, and evidence-based inquiry.

Open access publishing facilitates knowledge exchange, strengthens collaboration, and improves the visibility and impact of scholarly work. By removing access barriers, Utkarsha: Journal of Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies supports the development of Islamic philosophy and Sufism, Qur'anic exegesis and Hadith, Islamic education and history, as well as Islamic law and economics.
